Describe
Filtering process:
The raw water enters the inside of the screen cylinder from the inlet of the filter, and flows through the screen to the outlet of the filter. Dirt particles are trapped on the inner surface of the screen and form a "filter cake", resulting in a pressure difference across the screen. The differential pressure switch senses the differential pressure, and when it reaches a preset value, the cleaning process begins.
Self-cleaning process:
During the self-cleaning process, the filtered process water continues to flow. The drain valve opens and the motor rotates the stainless steel brush to sweep the inner surface of the cylindrical screen. The particles trapped on the screen are removed by the brush and washed away from the drain valve.
The whole process takes 20-30 seconds.
The water supply is uninterrupted throughout the process.
